Video scripts have a problem that most copywriting does not: they have to sound natural when spoken by a specific person, not just read well on a page. A script that reads well might sound stilted, formal, or strange when the host or presenter actually delivers it. Good script writing accounts for the speaker - their rhythm, their vocabulary, their sentence length comfort zone.

We write to a voice style that matches the speaker. If you have existing video content, we review 3-5 examples before writing the first script. The goal is that when you read the script back, it sounds like something you would actually say.

Script types we cover: YouTube long-form (typically 8-25 minutes), YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels (60-90 seconds), explainer and product demo videos (2-5 minutes), podcast episode outlines and full scripts, and ad scripts for video campaigns. Each type has different structural conventions.

Delivery includes the script in a speaker-ready format with time codes, stage directions where needed, and a one-page brief note explaining the structural decisions. If the script is for a video with visual elements, we can provide a parallel storyboard brief for your video editor.
